FourFourTwo has published the best transfers in the history of Arsenal. French striker Thierry Henry's transfer to Arsenal is placed at the top of the list.
The transfer of the forward took place by 1999. The world champion moved from Juventus. The top three deals also feature the transfer of midfielder Patrick Vieira from AC Milan in 1996, as well as the signing of Ian Wright from Crystal Palace in 1991.

In 258 matches in the championship Henry scored 175 goals, four times becoming the top scorer of the championship. The Frenchman played for Arsenal until 2007, also going on loan during a break in the MLS in the 2011/2012 season.
