Tottenham's head coach Ange Postecoglou confirmed that goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has recovered from his injury and is ready to play in the English Premier League (EPL) match against Manchester United in Round 25.
The match is set to take place on Sunday, February 16.
Tottenham's website quotes the coach as saying:
Ange Postecoglou
Vic is probably the one who has come back ahead of schedule. He’s been training really well away from the team for two weeks. In the last 10 days he’s integrated back into the team and is fully into training, so he’s in a good place and that means he becomes available for us.
Note that the 28-year-old goalkeeper has not played since suffering an ankle fracture in the 12th round match against Manchester City (0-4) on November 23. He completed that match despite the injury. He signed with Tottenham in the summer of 2023.
This season, he has played 15 matches, conceding 15 goals and keeping four clean sheets.
Previously, Tottenham were eliminated from the FA Cup after losing to Aston Villa.
