Top European Leagues Plan To Sue FIFA Over Competition Schedule

Top European football leagues are preparing to file a lawsuit against the International Football Federation (FIFA), journalist Kaveh Solhekol reported on social media.

According to the source, European federations are unhappy with the excessive number of matches on the calendar. The names of the leagues intending to take legal action against the federation are currently unknown.

A few months ago, it was reported that FIFA faced a lawsuit threat due to plans to hold a new-format Club World Cup in 2025.

Previously, journalist Piers Morgan criticized Manchester City’s head coach Pep Guardiola for complaining about the busy competition schedule.
