Toni Kroos Believes the Ballon d'Or Should Go to a Real Madrid Player

Former Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has shared his thoughts on who should win the Ballon d'Or. He emphasized the importance of a player from Real Madrid receiving the award since the team has been the most successful in Europe.

Goal quotes Kroos as saying:

I would grant it to the Brazilian Vinicius Junior, the Englishman Jude Bellingham or the Spanish European champion Dani Carvajal. I would grant it to myself too. The main thing is that it is one of Real, because we were the most successful team in Europe.

The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on October 28 in Paris at the Théâtre Châtelet. According to media reports, Vinicius Junior is the leading contender for the award.

Last year, Lionel Messi, the Argentine forward for Inter Miami, won the Ballon d'Or for the eighth time in his career. Messi himself believes that his national teammate Lautaro Martinez deserves the trophy most.
