It is reported that the former Brazilian national team forward was taken to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo on November 29. The hospitalization of Pelé was unscheduled, he had previously undergone examinations at this medical institution.
According to a source, the former soccer player was diagnosed with generalized edema of the body, as well as decompensated heart failure and obfuscation. The hospitalization of 82-year-old Pelé was confirmed by his wife Marcia.
This is Pelé's third hospitalization in 2022. Previously, he was in the hospital for treatments for intestinal, liver and lung tumors.
