According to Bild, 35-year-old German forward Thomas Müller has made a decision regarding his future at Bayern Munich.
The source reports that the German player is willing to extend his contract, which expires this summer, if the club offers him a new deal. It was noted that Thomas Müller is ready to accept a pay cut, understanding that he may not be in the starting lineup next season.
Müller is a product of Bayern Munich's academy. During his time with the club, he has become a 12-time Bundesliga champion (2010, 2013-2023), a six-time DFB-Pokal winner (2010, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2020), and a two-time UEFA Champions League winner (2013, 2020).
In the current season, the 35-year-old has appeared in 32 matches for Bayern across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing four assists. Transfermarkt estimates Thomas Müller at six million euros.
Currently, Bayern Munich are at the top of the Bundesliga table, with 61 points after 24 matches.
Previously, Thomas Müller matched Cristiano Ronaldo's record for the most seasons of scoring in the UEFA Champions League.
In addition, last summer the 35-year-old forward announced his retirement from the German national team.
