The Telegraph: England Might Face Exclusion from UEFA Tournaments

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) may exclude England from participating in its tournaments due to government interference in football.

According to The Telegraph, the potential exclusion could arise from the proposal for an independent football regulator, which has been suggested by the major political parties in the UK.

It was reported that UEFA Secretary-General Theodore Theodoridis sent a letter to Lisa Nandy, the UK's Minister for Culture, Media, and Sport, indicating that "no government interference in the running of football."
