French PSG's Argentine forward Lionel Messi is very likely to leave the club, the Mirror reports.
According to the source, the Parisian management will not offer Messi to renew his contract, which expires in the summer of 2023. It is reported that PSG bosses want to sign young French players instead of acquiring expensive footballers.
Messi joined PSG in August 2021 after his contract with Barcelona expired. This season, the Argentine played 36 matches for the Parisians, in which he scored 20 goals and made 19 assists.
The media had previously reported that Barcelona were interested in returning the 35-year-old striker. It is noted that the footballer himself also wants to move to the Catalan team.
