According to The Athletic, Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea cried in winter 2023 while speaking with a representative from Arsenal after his failed transfer to the Gunners.
Reportedly, the Ukrainian tried to convince Arsenal to sign him during the winter transfer window.
This season, Mudryk has played in 26 matches for Chelsea across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing three assists at the age of 23.
It was previously reported that the main coach of Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino, stated that Mudryk lacks the necessary skills for successful performance within the club's system. Londoners may part ways with the player.
Earlier, Liverpool secured a victory over Chelsea in the final of the English League Cup thanks to Van Dijk's goal. Mauricio Pochettino deemed the loss in the final particularly painful.
