Liverpool have reached an agreement with Brighton for 21-year-old midfielder Moises Caicedo, The Athletic reported.
According to the source, the deal will be worth almost €127 million. If successfully completed, the transfer will set a record for English football.
Caicedo has been playing in Brighton since February 2021. The player's contract with the team runs until June 30, 2027.
The midfielder has played 53 matches for the club, scoring two goals and giving three assists. Transfermarkt website estimates the market value of the player at €75 million.
