According to a report from The Athletic, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed his intention to continue his relationship with the club. The new contract will last for one year, with an option to extend for another season.
After 11 matches in the Premier League, Manchester City, under Guardiola's leadership, have accumulated 23 points and currently sit in second place in the league table, five points behind leaders Liverpool.
It's important to note that Guardiola's current contract is set to expire this coming summer.
