Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has responded to the question whether he will continue to coach the team next season.
Sky Sports quotes the coach as saying:
I don't have any doubts. I'm just focusing on my job, focusing on this process, in this project. I really love to be here, I'm enjoying it. For me it's a challenge.
Recall, Ten Hag led the team in April 2022, having moved from Ajax Amsterdam. Under his leadership the Red Devils scored 48 points in the EPL season-2023/2024, sitting in sixth position in the standings, that is, outside the zone of European tournaments. Moreover, MU fell out of the Champions League, taking the last place in Group A.
Note, the contract of the Dutchman with the team is valid until 2025.
Earlier The Guardian reported that the new owner of MU Sir Jim Ratcliffe impressed with the work of Ten Haag and expects to keep the specialist at least until the end of the season.
Famous British journalist and CNN anchor Piers Morgan called the Dutch specialist a "clown".
