31-year-old former Manchester United and Al-Nassr defender Alex Telles shared insights into the eating habits of 39-year-old Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
Telles told A Bola:
He has his own special meal. His plate is different from the rest of the team, and as soon as we sit down, the nutritionist brings his dish. He eats a lot of natural foods, quinoa, avocado, salmon. Then he looks over at the plates of others. I even joked, 'Man, are you hungry?" When it comes to dessert, everyone is a bit wary, looking to see what he does. Because he is fit, we want to follow his example. So we’re a bit unsure about dessert.
Telles signed a contract with his new club, Brazilian side Botafogo, on September 3, 2024, lasting until the end of 2026. He has only played one match for the team so far. Telles joined Al-Nassr in 2023, where he made 38 appearances, scored three goals, and provided five assists.
Earlier, Al-Nassr’s press service announced that Ronaldo would not travel with the team for their AFC Champions League match against Al-Sharjah due to a viral infection.
