The management of Manchester United has identified a leading candidate to replace Dutch coach Erik ten Hag. German specialist Thomas Tuchel, currently without a job, is the best option for the role.
According to TEAMtalk, Tuchel is eager to make a return to the Premier League and believes that English football aligns well with his coaching vision. The German previously managed Chelsea, where he led the team to a Champions League title in the 2020/2021 season.
Erik ten Hag was appointed as Manchester United’s head coach in the summer of 2022, guiding the team to two trophies: the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.
After six rounds of play, Manchester United sits in 13th place in the Premier League standings with seven points.
