The Opta supercomputer has identified a favorite to win the next season of UEFA’s Champions League. According to its analysis, Manchester City holds the highest chance of claiming the title at 25.3 percent.
Following closely is Real Madrid with an 18.2 percent probability of victory. Inter Milan ranks third, with their chances assessed at 10.9 percent. Arsenal comes in fourth at 6.3 percent, while Bayer Leverkusen rounds out the top five at 5.4 percent.
The main tournament kicks off on September 17 and will run until May 31. The final will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. Defending champions Real Madrid will be defending their title.
Notably, Manchester City, under the management of Pep Guardiola, won this trophy in 2023, defeating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final held in Istanbul, with the only goal scored by Spanish midfielder Rodri in the 67th minute.
