
The Opta supercomputer has identified the leading contender for the UEFA Champions League title for the 2024/25 season after the first quarterfinal matches of the prestigious European club tournament. According to the supercomputer, London’s Arsenal hold the highest chance of winning at 28.4%.
Rounding out the top three are Barcelona at 22.4% and Inter Milan at 21.1%. In contrast, Real Madrid currently have the lowest chances of winning the Champions League title, with a mere 1.1%.
On Tuesday, April 8, the first matches of the quarterfinals took place. The Gunners triumphed over Real Madrid at home with a score of 3-0. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich fell to Inter Milan at home, losing 2-1.
In the 2023/24 season, Real Madrid emerged as the Champions League winner, defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the final.
