According to Sport.es, the reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid are prepared to sell Brazilian midfielder Rodrygo Goes due to his comments about Manchester City being the world's best club.
Sources within the club believe that the opinions expressed by the 23-year-old winger are not incidental, especially considering his recent statements about a possible departure from the Spanish capital if he loses his place in the starting lineup. It is noted that Real Madrid are willing to sell Rodrygo for 150 million euros.
On April 8, as reported by Marca, Rodrygo plans to stay at the Madrid club even if the Paris Saint-Germain forward and French national team player Kylian Mbappe transfers to the team.
In the 2023/2024 La Liga season, Rodrygo played in 34 matches, scoring ten goals and providing five assists. Moreover, the winger scored five goals and made three assists in 13 Champions League games. His contract with Real Madrid runs until the end of June 2028, with a market value of 100 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
