As reported by Telecomasia.net, Spartak representatives are informally communicating with the representatives of 25-year-old midfielder Rodrigo Zalazar from Braga. The Uruguayan has become a top priority for Spartak in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Recently, Zalazar missed the Portuguese league match against Benfica due to health issues.
Rodrigo Zalazar joined Braga from Schalke in 2023 for 5 million euros. Since then, he has played 69 matches for the Portuguese club, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists. In the current season of the Portuguese league, he has netted two goals and provided five assists, while in the Europa League, he scored three times and assisted three times in eight appearances.
Transfermarkt estimates the 25-year-old Uruguayan at 16 million euros, while earlier reports indicated that Braga expects to receive at least 20 million euros for his transfer.
