Spanish prosecutors have accused Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, of tax evasion schemes and are seeking a five-year prison sentence for the 65-year-old Italian specialist. This was reported by Mundo Deportivo.
According to sources, Ancelotti is being charged with two tax offenses. According to the investigation, the coach failed to pay around 1 million euros.
Ancelotti has been at the helm of Real Madrid since 2021. In the previous season, los Blancos won the Spanish championship and the Champions League under his management.
The Italian coach previously stated that he would end his career at the Madrid club. He did not rule out stepping down from his coaching position in 2026.
