Spaniard Lamine Yamal Becomes Youngest Player In Euro History

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal will be in the starting lineup for the team's first match at the European Championship 2024. Thus, he will become the youngest player in the history of the tournament.

Yamal will take the field at the age of 16 years and 338 days. The previous record belongs to Polish footballer Kacper Kozlowski, who made his debut at Euro 2020 in a match against Spain at the age of 17 years 246 days.

The match of the first round of Group B between the national teams of Spain and Croatia will be held today, June 15, and will begin at 19:00 GMT+3.

Earlier, the coaching staffs of Spain and Croatia announced the starting line-ups for the upcoming match.
