England's head coach Gareth Southgate has spoken about his future with the team and said that he might leave his position after the end of Euro 2024.
Southgate told Goal:
The reality of that is we focus totally on this tournament. I've worked in this building for over 10 years and, yeah, the ambition has been to win a tournament. So, there's nothing for us to consider until we've done that. And if we can do that, maybe I'll retire and do nothing anyway.
On May 21, the England national team press service announced the squad for the upcoming European Championship, taking place in Germany from June 14 to July 14.
England is in Group C, where they will face Serbia, Slovenia, and Denmark.
Earlier, Gareth Southgate explained his decision to leave out Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford and Ajax midfielder Jordan Henderson from the Euro 2024 squad.
