The English Premier League (EPL) club Southampton have fired their head coach for the second time in the 2022/23 season.
On February 12, the Saints' press service announced Nathan Jones' resignation from his post. It is noted that the team will be prepared for the next game by coach Rubén Sellés.
Recall that in early November 2022 Southampton dismissed Ralph Hasenhüttl as head coach, and Sellés was acting coach until the appointment of Jones.
Southampton currently sits in last, 20th place in the English league standings with 15 points in 22 games.
