Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened up about negotiations with English midfielder Jude Bellingham, who currently plays for Real Madrid.
Bellingham joined los Blancos in the summer of 2023. The midfielder previously played for Borussia Dortmund and Birmingham.
The Overlap quotes the Norwegian coach as saying:
Jude, he was in the building. He knew that he wanted a certain amount of minutes in the first team. He was 17 at the time and he was the most mature 17-year-old I’ve ever met. He had it all planned out.
Earlier, Bellingham was suspended for two La Liga matches due to comments towards a referee after the match against Valencia. Mason Greenwood requested not to investigate Bellingham for harsh words towards a Getafe player.
