Fulham is close to reaching an agreement with Arsenal regarding the transfer of midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, journalist David Ornstein reported on his social media.
The transfer fee is expected to be £35 million, which would make Smith Rowe the most expensive player in Fulham’s history. The 23-year-old Englishman is set to undergo a medical examination soon.
Last season, Smith Rowe played 19 matches across all competitions and provided two assists. The player’s market value, as assessed by Transfermarkt, stands at 22 million euros.
Earlier, Bayern Munich announced the acquisition of Fulham's defensive midfielder João Palhinha.
