Liverpool has initiated discussions with Feyenoord's head coach, Arne Slot, as reported by Sky Sports. The representatives of the club are currently in Rotterdam, where they are expected to make an offer to the 45-year-old coach.
The interest of the English club in the Dutch specialist became known on April 23.
According to insider Pedro Almeida, Feyenoord expects to receive compensation from Liverpool ranging from 10 to 15 million euros for the early termination of their coach's contract.
Recall that Liverpool's current head coach Jurgen Klopp plans to leave his position at the end of the current season. Earlier reports indicated that the German may take charge at Bayern Munich.
