Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has earned over a million euros in horse races in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The 82-year-old Scot is part of an ownership group that includes a stallion named Spirit Dancer, which won a prestigious tournament in Riyadh.
Thanks to his horse's victory, Sir Alex Ferguson earned 944 thousand pounds (around 1.1 million euros), as reported by the Daily Mail.
Ferguson has been passionate about horse racing since his coaching days and has devoted himself to it completely after retiring from sports. His horses have won numerous competitions.
In early February, Ferguson acquired a stallion named Caldwell Potter at an auction for 633 thousand pounds.
Also, in January, the legendary Scot was recognized as the best coach of the 1990s by FourFourTwo magazine.
