On Sunday, January 26, Milan's Inter secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Lecce away from home in the 22nd round of Serie A. This win marked the 200th for Inter's head coach Simone Inzaghi, who reached this milestone in just 332 matches.
Inzaghi has now become the fastest coach in Serie A history to reach 200 wins, surpassing Massimiliano Allegri, who accomplished the feat in 338 matches.
Inzaghi has been managing Inter since July 2021, during which the club has won the Italian Championship, the Coppa Italia twice, and the Italian Super Cup three times.
Currently, Inter sit in second place in Serie A with 50 points after 22 matches, trailing three points behind leaders Napoli.
In other news, Inter recently extended Inzaghi's contract until the end of June 2026.
Moreover, the 48-year-old coach was recognized as the best coach in the last Serie A season.
