The official website of the Spanish club Sevilla has announced the extension of the contract with 50-year-old head coach Xavier Garcia Pimienta, who took the position in July 2024.
The new agreement will be in effect until 2027.
Under Garcia Pimienta’s guidance, Sevilla has played seven matches in La Liga, earning eight points with two wins, two draws, and three losses. The team currently occupies the 12th position in the league standings.
The club's press service reported that the contract extension was announced to players and coaching staff by Sevilla president Jose María del Nido Carrasco on September 24, following a home victory in the seventh round of La Liga against Valladolid.
