Former Porto head coach Sergio Conceicao has been appointed as the new manager of AC Milan, according to the club’s press service in Italy's Serie A.
After 17 rounds in the league, the Rossoneri are currently in eighth place with 27 points. Conceicao previously managed Porto from 2017 to 2024.
Reports indicate that his agreement with Milan will last until 2026. The first match for the Portuguese coach will be the Italian Supercup semifinal against Juventus on January 3.
Earlier on December 30, Milan's management made the decision to fire Paulo Fonseca from his role as head coach.
