This result will go down in World Cup and Saudi Arabian history forever. It's all thanks to hard work and God. There are things in soccer that can't be explained because Argentina is much stronger than us, but today our players made history for their country.
Saudi Arabia beat Argentina 2-1 at the 2022 World Cup. The Saudis responded to Messi's goal from a penalty spot early in the first half with two accurate shots early in the second round. For the Saudi team, this victory was the fourth at the World Cups, the team previously defeated Egypt (in 2018), as well as Belgium and Morocco (in 1994). Argentina hasn't lost an opening game at the World Cup since 1990.
