Officials from the Saudi Arabian league are optimistic about the transfer of 32-year-old Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Salah has been with the Reds since 2017, winning the Premier League and the Champions League. In the current season, he has played 43 matches across all competitions, scoring 32 goals and providing 22 assists. Transfermarkt estimates Mohamed at 55 million euros.
Reports suggest that Al-Hilal is Salah’s preferred destination; however, the transfer cannot be completed until after the Club World Cup, which begins on June 15. Meanwhile, Salah is also in negotiations with Liverpool regarding a contract extension.
