England coach Sarina Wiegman has been named the best coach of the season-2022/2023 in women's football, according to UEFA.
She was among the three nominees together with Jorge Vilda and Jonatan Giráldez who lead the women's teams of Spain and Barcelona respectively.
UEFA has already recognized Wiegman as the best coach of the year in women's football in 2021/2022.
The England national team under Wiegman made it to the semifinals of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, where they lost to Spain 0-1.
