Santos FC announced on social media the return of forward Neymar to the club after 11 and a half years.
Neymar's last team was Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, which he left in early 2025 as a free agent. During his time with the Asian club, he played only seven matches across all competitions, scoring one goal.
The Brazilian club released a video featuring the 32-year-old former Barcelona and PSG forward expressing his joy at once again playing for Santos, where he began his career. Neymar played at Santos from 2009 to 2013.
It was previously reported that Al-Hilal will pay Neymar $65 million for the termination of his contract. The 32-year-old forward plans to return to Europe after playing for Santos.
