Liverpool and Egypt forward Mohamed Salah is nearing a contract extension with the Reds.
According to insider Nicolo Schira, the 32-year-old Mo Salah is set to sign an agreement with the Merseyside club that will last until the end of June 2027, with an option for a potential one-year extension. Salah's current contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2025.
On December 8, the Mirror reported that the forward would be extending his contract with Liverpool. On December 2, The Athletic published news about Salah continuing his collaboration with the English club amidst interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
With Liverpool, Salah became the Premier League champion for the 2019/2020 season and won the UEFA Champions League (2018/2019) as well as the UEFA Super Cup in 2019. In the 2024/2025 season, the Egyptian has played 16 matches in the Premier League, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists, along with two goals and four assists in six Champions League matches. According to Transfermarkt, Salah's market value is estimated at 55 million euros.
