Former interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has addressed Manchester United fans following his departure from the club.
The Dutchman took charge after the firing of Erik ten Hag and remained in the role until Ruben Amorim was officially appointed on November 11.
Ruud van Nistelrooy
M.U.F.C will always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope there are many more glory days at Old Trafford very soon--not only because I want the club to do well, but because you all deserve it! All the best and take care, Ruud.
Earlier, van Nistelrooy recounted Erik ten Hag's reaction to his dismissal as the club's manager. The new head coach of the Red Devils, Ruben Amorim, chose not to include van Nistelrooy in his coaching staff.
