Telecomasian.net has learned that a Russian club is in talks with Brazilian Flamengo and Brazilian national team striker Gabriel Barbosa, nicknamed Gabigol.
According to our sources, the negotiations are in the active stage, the player is interested in the transfer, which can be completed as early as this summer.
Barbosa, 26, has played for Flamengo since January 2020. The player previously played for Inter, Benfica and Santos. The striker is a two-time champion of Brazil, a three-time winner of Copa Libertadores, as well as the Olympic champion.
Barbosa was twice the top scorer of Copa Libertadores and the Brazilian championship. He is the third top scorer in the history of the national championship. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the market value of the player at €21 million.
