The International Football Federation (FIFA) has banned the registration of new players to the club Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, reported the Daily Mail.
The reason for the organization's decision was Al-Nassr's failure to pay Leicester bonuses related to the deal for Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa. According to the source, the matter concerns €460,000 and a performance-related percentage for the ex-CSKA striker.
Al-Nassr will not be able to register new players for three transfer periods. The incident of unpaid fees occurred before the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) purchased the club. It is also reported that the organization intends to pay the debt to prevent the imposition of the ban.
