Cristiano Ronaldo, forward and captain of Al-Nassr, will not travel with the team to Iraq for the AFC Champions League match against Al-Shorta on September 16 due to health issues.

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo was not feeling well today and was diagnosed with a viral infection. As a result he will not be traveling with the team to Iraq today.
Cristiano has been playing for Al-Nassr since 2020. In the 2023/2024 season, the player became the top scorer in the Arab Champions Cup. In May 2024, Ronaldo received the Golden Shoe award for being the top scorer in the Saudi Super Cup.
Previously, Al-Nassr gifted Cristiano Ronaldo a unique jersey to commemorate his achievement of 900 career goals.
