Ronaldo Set Personal Record For Fewest Ball Touches At Major Tournaments

Portugal's forward Cristiano Ronaldo set a personal record by touching the ball an average of 29.1 times per match during Euro 2024 games.

Ronaldo played a total of five games in the tournament. His best record was during the 2006 World Cup, where he averaged 66.2 ball touches per game.

Additionally, during the tournament, Ronaldo had 23 shots on target but failed to score a goal from open play, thus setting a new record for this statistic since the 2010 World Cup. He did score two penalties against Slovenia and France.
