The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has compiled a symbolic team of the best players at the end of the year 2023, which did not include Al-Nassr and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Defenders: Ruben Dias (Manchester City), Alfonso Davies, Kim Min-Jae (both Bayern).
Midfielders: Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri (both Manchester City), Lionel Messi (Inter Miami).
Forwards: Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Bayern), Kylian Mbappe (PSG).
