British publication Give Me Sport has compiled a ranking of the most legendary footballers of all time.
Various criteria were considered in the ranking. For instance, international fame, football skills, and impact on the sport both during and after their careers.
Topping the list is Cristiano Ronaldo, the forward for Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr and the Portuguese national team.
Second place went to Argentine Lionel Messi, who plays for Inter Miami.
Third place was secured by the owner of the American club where Messi plays, Englishman David Beckham.
The Mirror also previously reported that Ronaldo is urging Al-Nassr management to offer Kevin De Bruyne a contract with a weekly salary of €1 million.
