Al-Nassr forward and Portugal national team player Cristiano Ronaldo shared his thoughts on English club Manchester United.
Ronaldo was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying:
They [United] need to rebuild everything, in my opinion. Manchester United coach, you cannot say that you're not going to fight to win the League or Champions League. You have to be, to mentally say, listen, maybe we don't have that potential, but I cannot say that. We're going to try. You have to try.
Ronaldo was the first Portuguese player in Manchester United's history, playing for the club from 2003 to 2009 and then again from 2021 to 2022. Since 2022, Cristiano has been playing for Saudi club Al-Nassr. In May 2024, he received the Golden Shoe award for being the top scorer in the league, netting 35 goals.
Earlier, Cristiano Ronaldo stated that he considers Real Madrid the best club in football history.
