In a recent video on his YouTube channel Cristiano Ronaldo, 39-year-old forward for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team, shared what he will miss the most after finishing his playing career:
What I will miss most is the adrenaline of being in the stadium and the nerves. Elsewhere, I have it well under control and good business. But the adrenaline of football is never going to be there again.
The star Portuguese player has been wearing the jersey of Al Nassr since January 2023. His current contract with the club runs until the end of June 2025. In the 2024/2025 season, Ronaldo has played in three matches in the Saudi Arabian league, scoring two goals and providing one assist, as well as participating in two matches of the country's Super Cup, scoring two goals and making one assist. According to Transfermarkt, Ronaldo's market value is estimated at 15 million euros.
On September 14, ahead of the league match against Al Ahly (which ended in a 1-1 draw), the club gifted Ronaldo a commemorative jersey to honor his achievement of scoring 900 career goals. Just a day earlier, in a podcast with former England defender Rio Ferdinand, Ronaldo revealed that he does not see himself becoming a coach.
