Cristiano Ronaldo, the striker for Al Nassr and the Portugal national team, has begun negotiations for a contract extension with his Saudi Arabian club.
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in 2023, and his current contract is set to expire at the end of this season. He will turn 40 in February 2025.
Journalist Rudy Galetti reported that before heading to the national team camp, Ronaldo met with Al Nassr representatives, and both parties were satisfied with the negotiations.
Earlier, it was reported that Ronaldo is urging Al Nassr management to offer Kevin De Bruyne a salary of 1 million euros per week. In other news, his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, mentioned feeling relieved when Ronaldo left Manchester United in 2022.
