The Portuguese national team defeated the Uruguayan national team 2-0 in the second round of the group stage match of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which took place on November 28. The double was scored by midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
In the opening goal, the ball allegedly touched the tip of Ronaldo's hair as he tried to complete Fernandes' pass.
With this win, the Portuguese secured their participation in the World Cup playoffs with six points in two rounds. Uruguay is fourth in Group H with one point.
