Insider Fabrizio Romano has reported on his social media page that former Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has returned to his position at the London club.
According to the source, Chelsea have agreed a short-term deal with Lampard until the end of the 2022/23 season following the sacking of Graham Potter.
The former midfielder previously coached Chelsea from July 2019 to January 2021. After that, Lampard worked at Everton, leading the team from January 2022 to January 2023.
In the current season, Chelsea after 29 rounds occupies 11th place in the standings of the English championship with 39 points.
