
Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti will officially become the manager of the Brazil national team in the summer of 2025.
The former coach of the five-time world champions is Doriival Júnior. Ancelotti has been with los Blancos since 2021, winning two UEFA Champions League titles and two La Liga championships during his tenure.
It has been reported that both parties have agreed on the Italian's transition to this new role from June of this year until the start of the 2025 Club World Cup. By the time of the tournament in the U.S., Real Madrid will have appointed a new head coach.
This season, the Madrid side has been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in the quarter-finals, losing to Barcelona in the decisive match of the Spanish Cup. In La Liga, Real Madrid currently sit second after 33 rounds with 72 points.
