The 28-year-old midfielder is contemplating a club change at the end of the current season. His decision is influenced by several factors, including the potential departure of head coach Pep Guardiola, possible sanctions from the Premier League against the club, and his desire for new career challenges.
Rodri has already made up his mind, expressing a preference for Barcelona if he leaves Manchester City. He believes that the playing style of the Catalan club suits him better and finds their current project more appealing.
This season, Rodri played three matches before suffering a knee ligament injury. After his recovery, he went on to win the Ballon d'Or, beating Vinicius by 41 votes.
