According to RMC Sport, French Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier has signed a contract with the Parisians to terminate his employment agreement with the club. The 56-year-old expert has signed all the necessary documents.
On June 5, the Red-and-Blues management are going to announce the departure of Galtier at a press conference and the appointment of 53-year-old Luis Enrique as the manager of the team. He previously worked for the Spanish national team.
Earlier it was reported that Galtier and his son are facing up to three years of imprisonment and a fine of €45,000 for the scandal of 2021, related to discrimination on racial and religious grounds. The trial will take place on December 15.
Recall that Galtier managed PSG in July 2022, replacing Mauricio Pochettino and signed a contract until the summer of 2024. With Galtier in charge, the Parisians won the French championship in the season 2022/2023 and the Supercup.
