According to Trivela, 32-year-old defensive midfielder Casemiro from Manchester United and the Brazilian national team will not be returning to Real Madrid.
The source reports that the Brazilian firmly declined a request from the Madrid club, as he considers this chapter of his career to be closed.
Casemiro played for Real Madrid from 2015 to 2022, making 336 appearances, scoring 31 goals, and providing 29 assists. During his time at the Spanish club, he won 18 trophies, including five UEFA Champions League titles and three La Liga championships.
In the current season, Casemiro has participated in 17 matches for United across all competitions, scoring three goals. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2026, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €15 million.
Currently, Manchester United sit in 12th place in the Premier League table, with a total of 16 points.
